D'Amato hits one-year mark

Refreshment Services Pepsi of Key West recently recognized marketing and sales associate Nancy D'Amato on her one-year anniversary with the beverage company.

"Nancy has brought more than 25 years of experience in local marketing and advertisement to our company," said General Manager Flaco Cabrera. "She understands the uniqueness of our island paradise and enjoys helping not only our business and our customers' business grow, but also supporting local charities at community events."

First State welcomes Jackson

John Jackson recently joined First State Bank of the Florida Keys as a commercial lender.

Jackson holds a master's degree in Real Estate and a bachelor's degree in finance and brings eight years of banking and real estate experience to his new position, according to a bank press release.

A native Floridian, Jackson was born in Clearwater Beach and moved to Key West from Orlando.

Westin promotes Brannigan, welcomes Torbisco

Ocean Properties, Inc., the company that owns and operates the Westin Key West Resort & Marina, Sunset Key Guest Cottages and Sheraton Suites recently announced the promotion of Jane Brannigan to group sales manager for the three properties.

Brannigan, who was born in Northern Ireland, has worked for Ocean Properties since 1998 and has an extensive background in concierge, sales and group activities. In 2006, she was promoted to concierge supervisor and was responsible for overseeing Sunset Key and Westin concierge services.

The hotel company also recently named Lourdes Torbisco as sales and marketing manager for Sunset Key and the Westin. She will oversee all marketing aspects and has an extensive background in sales and marketing, including new business development and market penetration, community relations, public speaking, advertising, facility development and project management.

Prior to joining Ocean Properties, Torbisco served as a sales executive for a marketing retail company that specialized in retail product placement and market development.

Centennial welcomes Koltunak, honors Cantler

Key West native Carol-Lynn Koltunak recently joined Centennial Bank's Lower Keys retail team as a teller in the Summerland Key branch.

Koltunak, who now lives in Big Pine, joins Centennial Bank from Keys Federal Credit Union and volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and Relay for Life, according to a press release.

Centennial Bank this month also recognized Sheila Cantler, vice president and branch manager in Big Pine, on her 15th service anniversary.

Born in Ohio, Sheila was raised in Big Pine Key and has been in banking in the Keys for 30 years.

"The connection she maintains with her customers endears them to Centennial Bank, and that is invaluable," said Teresa Condas, president of Centennial Bank in South Florida.
