Red Mass held at St. Mary

Archbishop of Miami, Most Rev. Thomas G. Wenski, will celebrate the sixth annual Monroe County Red Mass at noon Friday at The Basilica of St. Mary Star of the Sea. All are welcome.

The Red Mass, a Catholic Church tradition dating back to the 13th century, recognizes the judiciary and all who assist them. In Washington, D.C., the members of the Supreme Court join the president and members of Congress in the celebration at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle.

In the Key West version, a lunch will follow in the adjacent Garden Room; RSVP at 305-294-1018.
