Key West off to best start with Menendez at helm

Key West coach Miguel Menendez says he considers Friday's victory over District 16-4A foe Gulliver Prep "among our better in-season victories," but says it doesn't compare with tournament wins, particularly winning the District championship in 2011 over Belen Prep and Mater Academy.

"I'm happy for the kids," he said about Friday's victory. "It's not about me."
