Tourist, 65, dies snorkeling
A 65-year-old Michigan man died Tuesday while on a snorkeling trip off Key Largo, the Sheriff's Office said in a press release issued Thursday.
Gregory Hancock of Davison, Mich., was aboard the Snorkel Express charter boat out of Pennekamp State Park when he collapsed on the deck just after snorkeling for about 30 minutes, Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Deputy Becky Herrin said in the release. A firefighter, paramedic and a nurse on board began performing CPR as the boat headed back to shore, but the victim was pronounced dead. Davison is a suburb of Flint, Mich.
