You can not pick up after your mangy pooch with paper bags - you need plastic! Otherwise, step high Key Westers as the poop will pile up very quickly!

Last time I was in the store and some do gooder with more time then brains gave me crap about not having "reusable bags" So I asked the bagger to double bag in plastic. You do good enviro nuts want to save the earth? Commit suicide and save us all the hot air you are blowing + think of all the carbon you will not use because you are dead.

Not all of California bans

Not all of California bans plastic but I know of one oceanfront community (Pismo Beach in Central Cal)that passed the ban. I think it's a great idea for KW to do this. reusable bags are cheap enough to buy (usually $1).

Please outlaw plastic bags

Please outlaw plastic bags statewide. Our oceans deserve it. Texting on the other hand...meh. Kids these days are probably so used to text inane multi tasking it won't matter in 20 years as long as us old folks don't do it, we should all be safe!

Why do some people think a government mandate is the only way to solve a problem. Last I checked, Winn Dixie and most other stores have both paper and plastic. Here's a radical thought: instead of forfeiting your own personal responsibility and demanding Big Brother fix everything, just say "Paper please!"

More Government Bureaucracy

While it it only common sense to outlaw texting, involving the government in grocery bag counting is ridiculous. I certaily see the reason behind banning plastic bags. So why not just ban them without all the extra government involvement. Most stores offer paper bags now as an option. As usual government wants to make something that should be so simple a complicated and costly nightmare.
