The Marathon High softball team split a pair of games Friday afternoon in the 19th annual Pinecrest Physical Therapy South Florida Slam Fest softball tournament. In their 2 p.m. opener, the Lady Dolphins were up 8-2 against Naples Gulf Coast going into the top of the 5th inning, but lost 12-9 on bad innings on defense.
