In his twice-weekly syndicated column that originates from The Washington Post, Eugene Robinson sticks to the most pressing issues of the day.
Robinson last week questioned whether the newly chosen Pope Francis, of Argentina, had been involved in the 1976 war in his homeland that left thousands killed and tortured for being suspected leftists.

The true mouthpiece for Socialism is the Wall Street Journal, owned by Rupert Murdoch, also owner of Fox News.
Without privatizing gains and handing out big bonuses to their white collar sociopathic sychophants while socializing losses on the backs of taxpayers, Jamie Dimon, Llloyd Blankfein, etc., would not be able to continue God's work for Mammon! Wall Street and Big Business in America is all about Socialism, Sal.Big Oil gets hundreds of billions in subsidies while invasions of soveriegn, oil-rich countries and protection of oil lanes by our US Navy - all subsidized by U. S. taxpayers - insures greater profits.
Big Agriculture is subsidized with floor prices for grains and collects billions from the government for not growing crops, while selling corn at highly inflated prices to make ethanol in a loss of energy for every gallon of oil invested for every gallon of ethanol returned. Monsanto and ConAgra are laughing all the way to the bank. The Real Estate and Home Building markets are heavily subsidized by government sanctioned enterprises such as Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and the FHA, and were it not for Federal Reserve and its Quantitative Easing, all the overpriced land and homes in the state of Florida would not be overpriced and artificially pumped up today. Socialism at its finest!
The insurance sector, especially Medical Insurers, is all built on the backs of government intervention to hand out favorable dispensation of Meds (which cost more in the USA than any other country in the world)and Money to a sector which lobbys government to write healthcare laws which line their pockets at the expense of US taxpayers. If we removed these subsidized Insurers and went to single payer healthcare, we'd pay a fraction of what we pay today and all Americans would have decent healthcare as can be found in every civilized democracy on the planet.Corporate welfare is Socialism.
Listen to this short video clip of a Conservative talk about the cultural problem of government growing because it is profitable. He explains the problem is Government is pro-business, when it ought to be pro-Capitalism:
http://www.againstcronycapitalism.org/2013/03/peter-schweizer-government...And keep in mind this is a Conservative at CPAC making these points. He not only turned his laser focus on "libruls" but members of his own party, such as when he mentions over half the class of incoming Republicans of 1996 who were going to clean up Washington are now registered lobbyists. He's right. Our government foreign policy is set by corporate policy. Our government is way too pro-Big Business (see Too Big To Jail banksters who enter/exit the revolving door of Government/Wall Street) and not pro-markets, i.e., pro-Capitalism. The way it is now, the Government is pro-Crony Capitalism.
