City awaits big blue 65-gallon recycle carts
New once-a-week waste pick-up is around the corner in Key West

The city of Key West is eight weeks away from what is only the start of big changes when it comes to home recycling and trash pick-up.

By mid-July, Utilities Manager Jay Gewin expects the arrival of 13,000 blue plastic 65-gallon wheeled carts, similar to the green garbage carts.
