Tarpon, lies and videotape -- where's the data to show negative impact?

I recently came across an old photo of my grandfather, G.R. Steadman, original master and "plank owner" of the Schooner Western Union. There he was, at the Thompson Enterprises dock at the foot of William Street, looking salty next to his small motorboat. Hanging next to him was a very large tarpon indeed.
