Edward Foster Gordon of Signal Mountain, Tenn., peacefully passed away on Friday, May 17, 2013.

Edward was born April 18, 1946, in Pulaski to the late Foster "Bull" and Ruth Beech Gordon. He graduated from Giles County High School and went on to obtain an undergraduate and law degree from Vanderbilt University.

A true lover of life, he effortlessly led those in his presence to do the same. This passion was exemplified through his involvement in leadership development and training until his final day. A lifelong learner and avid reader, he was graceful with his words and eloquent in his writing. His joy of living, selfless giving of himself, and caring spirit will be forever remembered.

He is survived by his son Huntly Gordon, daughter Jennifer (Mark) Nolden, their mother Vicki Gordon, daughter Leah (Brent) Lee, his brother Philip Gordon and family and four grandchildren, Lillian Gordon, Isabella Gordon, Ava Gordon and Seth Nolden.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his honor to the charity of your choice. His most recent efforts were focused on helping the homeless.
