Judge seeks more info in Wisteria case
Feds point to 1819 treaty with Spain to support their ownership claim

The U.S. government originally obtained ownership of Wisteria Island "under an 1819 treaty with Spain" and Florida becoming a state did not change ownership or allow the state to sell the island.
