Lorina Wicker Roberts, 90, of Sebring, Fla., formerly of Key West, Fla., passed away on Saturday June 1, 2013, at Kindred Hospital Central in Tampa, Fla. She was born Oct. 1, 1922, in Key West to the late William and Rosalind (Acosta) Roberts.

Ms. Roberts lived most of her life in Key West, Fla., moving to Corpus Christi, Texas in 1985. She then moved to Sebring, Fla., in 2000. She was a member of The Basilica of Saint Mary Star of the Sea.

Surviving are her son Harry N. Roberts of Sebring, Fla.; nephews Scott C. King of Texas and Bill (Linda) Wicker of Key West, Fla.; nieces Sandra J. Wicker and Kathy Wicker, both of Key West, Fla.; grand nephew William Wicker, III, of Key West, Fla.. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Dorothy King.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2013, at The Basilica of Saint Mary Star of the Sea. Burial will be in the Key West City Cemetery. Visitation will be held 11 a.m. to noon Thursday June 6, 2013, at Dean-Lopez Funeral Home, 418 Simonton St., Key West, Fla. In lieu of flowers, memorials maybe given to the American Heart Association. The Dean-Lopez Funeral Home is entrusted with all funeral arrangements.
