Bill would tax Southeast Housing units rented to civilians, not active-duty military

The governor has until today to either sign or veto a bill that would provide millions of dollars in local property tax exemptions to private companies that partner with the military on housing projects.

If he does neither, Senate Bill 354 becomes law automatically.
