Tattoo lawsuit goes federal after city denied permit

A Virginia man who was denied permission to open a new tattoo shop in Old Town is now arguing his case in federal court, saying the local law limiting such businesses is unconstitutional.

Brad Buehrle argues in his complaint that the city of Key West violated his First and Fourteenth Amendment rights under the Constitution and is asking a judge to compel the city to issue...
