Pastor accused of stealing $54K
St. James Missionary's minister allegedly moved funds without permission

A Bahama Village pastor accused of stealing more than $54,000 from his church was arrested Tuesday.

John Wesley McKenzie, 50, pastor of St. James Missionary Church at 312 Olivia St., was charged with second-degree felony larceny of more than $20,000 and less than $100,000 -- a crime punishable by a maximum of 15 years in prison.
