Michael Marrone, 37, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, June 20, 2013, in Fitchburg, Mass.
Michael was a loving father, son, brother, companion and friend. He is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Stephanie Rigdon, and their son, Anthony Michael Marrone, his father, Mickey Marrone (Liz Jankowski), his mother, Nancy Romano Marrone (Ron Dubois), his four brothers, Dante, Nico, Enzo and Giovanni Marrone, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Michael was born in Leominster, Mass., on Oct. 29, 1975. He grew up spending time between Hampton, N.H., and Key West, Fla. He graduated from Key West High School in 1994 and then went to the University of Central Florida. He had many accomplishments in his short life, bar manager, casino boat captain and owner, and just recently, owner and proprietor of Double M Hauling Truck Co. Most of all, Michael loved life and all who were part of his life, family and friends. He loved surfing, snowboarding, skateboarding, boating, fishing and all sports; especially Boston-based teams. Michael was a gentle, kind soul who will be missed by all.
A memorial for Michael will take place in Key West at a later date.
