"I asked the cashier when I checked out the other day why one of our favorite retail stores here tacks on 2 percent every time I use my charge card or bank card. She said it's because the banks and the charge cards charge them a fee for the use of the card, for accepting it. So they in turn deduct it from us. What's going on?"
