"When I must leave you for a little while,

Live on and do all things the same,

Feed not your loneliness on empty days,

Fill each waking hours in useful ways,

Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer,

And I in turn will comfort you and hold you near,

Never ever be afraid to die, for I am waiting for you in the sky."

There will be a viewing from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2013, in the chapel of the Castillo & Thurston's Key West Mortuary, 328 Truman Ave. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Cornish Memorial A.M.E Zion Church, 702 Whitehead St. All arrangements are entrusted to Castillo & Thurston's Key West Mortuary and Cremation Center.
