In passing new laws, quantity not an issue

More than 160 bills passed by the 2013 Florida Legislature became law on July 1. Depending on one's perspective, most Floridians are likely to experience changes in their lives from these wide-ranging laws. From the use of drones to issues of abortion, pay raises for state government workers to the way tenants can be evicted from rentals, legislators passed laws at a prolific and rapid pace.
