Milton Cleo King, 60, died in his home surrounded by his MARC House family on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013.

Milton was born in Dublin, Ga. His family moved to Miami when he was 3.

He spent most of his early years in Sunland Institution until moving to the Florida Keys in 1977 as one of the first MARC group home residents.

Milton is survived by several brothers and sisters in Miami.

Milton left behind many friends at MARC and in the community who remember him fondly for his love of dancing, infectious laugh and fun-loving disposition.

An informal service and celebration of his life will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013, at The Basilica of St. Mary Catholic church in Key West.

Refreshments will follow the celebration at the Rainbow Café, 1401 Seminary St.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to MARC Inc., P.O. Box 428, Key West, FL 33041.
