Theresa R. "Terry" Adametz (nee Piasecki), 70, of Key West, Fla., and Marlboro Township, N.J., formerly of Perth Amboy, N.J., passed away on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood, N.J., with her family by her side.

Terry was born and raised in Perth Amboy before moving to Marlboro Township and then to Key West Florida. She worked as an office manager for Dr. Susan Dick, M.D. in Neptune, N.J., for more than 28 years. She retired this past January. She was a parishioner of the Blessed John Paul II Parish at St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church.

She is preceded in death by her loving parents Walter and Theresa (nee Swidzinski) Piasecki.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 45 years, Timothy Adametz, who is a retired Perth Amboy firefighter; her beloved daughters Donna and her husband Mark Storton and Michelle and her husband Christopher Ellis; her dear brother Walter Jr. and his wife Ann Piasecki; and her adoring grandson Michael Storton.

Visitation hours will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay St., Perth Amboy, N.J. A funeral procession will begin at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, at the Novak Funeral Home to the St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church for a funeral mass at 10 a.m.
