Blvd. owner wants dockage
The city's appointed Planning Board on Oct. 17 will hear a New Town property owner's request to build new dockage with 74 berths at 2407 North Roosevelt Boulevard.
The owner, Dr. Richard Walker, has submitted a "major development plan" to the city.
Walker is a gynecologist and obstetrician who has an office on site. The Planning Board meets at 6 p.m. Oct. 17 at Old City Hall, 510 Greene St.
Also on Oct. 17, the board will consider approving a car dealership's move to 2826-2834 N. Roosevelt Blvd, on property that once was home to The Tunnel drive-through liquor store.
The local Kia dealer, 3424 N. Roosevelt Blvd., wants to move down the road to the 2800 block, where auto sales is a permitted use, pending city approval.
