KEY WEST: Now through Tuesday, there will be single-lane closures on North Roosevelt Boulevard as crews re-stripe, replace signs and move the barrier wall and bicycle lane as the thoroughfare becomes two-way, with a center turn lane.

Also, there will be daytime and nighttime single lane closures on North Roosevelt Boulevard from the Triangle at U.S. 1 to the intersection of Palm Avenue/First Street for removal of existing pavement stripes, replacement of existing directional and one-way signage with signage to reflect new traffic patterns, movement of barrier wall and bicycle/pedestrian lane, re-striping for new traffic patterns.

Traffic will be maintained inbound but in a single lane, according to Dean Walters, spokesman for the Florida Department of Transportation.

Pedestrians and bicyclists should exercise extra caution.
