Volunteers always welcome
Habitat for Humanity's ReStore and CoConut Closet are always seeking volunteers to process new inventory, arrange displays, check out newly arrived appliances, computers, etc., and greet and wait on customers.
The facility is at 30320 Overseas Highway, Mile Marker 30.
Younger volunteers, at least 16 years old, also can help out.
Stop in and speak with ReStore manager Tom Greenwood, or CoConut Closet manager Jerri Kimmell, and fill out a volunteer application, or call 305-872-2883.
'Tis the season for Key Largo boat parade

The parade is free to enter and vessels of all sizes are welcome. Boats will be judged on their creativity and decorations, and judges will award a grand prize to the top winner, with all other entries eligible for a $500 chance drawing.
A winners' party will follow the parade, starting at 10 p.m. at Sundowners.
