Dawn Marie Trumble
July 14, 1964- November 12, 2013
Dawn M. Schultze Trumble, 49, passed away peacefully with her husband Jim and sister Donna at her bedside at the Lower Keys Medical Center in Key West, Fla., on Nov. 12, 2013.
Dawn was born and raised in Pennsylvania, moved to Venice, Fla., with her family in 1981 where she met and married her husband, Jim Trumble, on Jan. 30, 1987. They moved to Big Pine Key 20 years ago where Dawn worked at Scotty's before she and her husband established their business, Quality Screening, more than 15 years ago.
Dawn had a wonderful sense of humor, despite her many health challenges, sharing laughter wherever she went. She enjoyed traveling and had many adventures with her husband as well as playing games and hanging out with her girls Vicky, Penny, Holly, and Paula. Dawn will be remembered for her love and devotion to her friends and family, especially her four-legged children: Moosie, Snickers, Baby Girl, Sissy, and Samantha-Jane, her pride and joy.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Claudia Schultze. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jim; stepson Jamie Trumble; granddaughter Taylor Trumble; father Herb Schultze and stepmother Kathy Garber; sisters Sue Stehman, Lynn Lavarini and husband John; Donna Morrell and husband Dave, Debbie Novak and husband Dan; Dianne Strickland and husband Vance; brother Bob Schultze and wife Patti; along with nephews and nieces Chris and Kristen Stehman; David Morrell, Brian, Nathan, and Jake Novak, Ryan and Lily Strickland.
The family would like to acknowledge the kindness of the doctors, nurses and staff at the Lower Keys Medical Center in Key West, Fla. for providing compassionate care for Dawn in her final days with us. A celebration of life will be at held 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at the Service Club beach in Venice, Fla.
