Trial about military housing opens
Navy, private partner claim exemption from property taxes after $11M lien

The trial over whether Monroe County can tax military housing projects in Key West opened Wednesday with detailed testimony from two attorneys involved in the contracts that led to the Navy and its private-sector partner deciding they were exempt.
