William K. Hazelton

William K. Hazelton, 64, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013.

Bill moved to Key West, Fla., in 1994 and received his calling with God. He became very involved in the MCC-Key West Church and the formative years of the Gay & Lesbian Community Center as well as the Key West Wreckers fundraising activities, which benefit local charities.

A person who turned the spirit of God's love into living action will be well revered.

This was Bill and he is greatly missed.

A memorial service and scattering of ashes will be held at 1 p.m. today, Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at the White Street Pier, with a celebration of life at 2:30 p.m. at Bobby's Monkey Bar, 900 Simonton St., Key West, with munchies and a cash bar.
