County takes on sea level rise
Climate Change Plan suggests actions to lessen impact on environment, housing

The Florida Keys are on the front lines when it comes to sea level rise.

The Keys have already begun to feel its effects; and streets and properties already flood during storms and unusually high tides. The habitat of some area endangered species, such as the marsh rabbit, is being eaten away by saltwater intrusion.
