Island recalls lost friends on World AIDS Day

Joe Pais, a former city commissioner who this year retired from his administrator's job at AIDS Help, Inc., once again pinned a red ribbon to his shirt and appeared at the foot of the White Street Pier for World AIDS Day on Sunday.
