Locals blast city's plans for parks
Dozens tell city planners to leave dog park alone at Monday meeting

Key West will always include a dog park, whether it remains where it is across from Higgs Beach, or is moved a block to Indigenous Park, city leaders said Monday night.

"We are a city where dogs go into restaurants," said City Commissioner Teri Johnston, who has two canines. "We will never take away a dog park."
