2013 a busy year for county projects
Taxpayers benefit from projects; electricity a long time coming

Monroe County broke ground on a $150 million regional wastewater project; purchased Rowell's Marina for $5 million; reached a $77 million agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and Marathon over restoring the Old Seven Mile Bridge; and inventoried the needs of its roads and bridges in one of the busiest years on record.
