WILLIAM ELMER SEAMAN

William Elmer Seaman , born March 16, 1925, passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 27, 2013 at his home here in Key West. He had lived a full and eventful life. Elmer was schooled at the Geneva Military Academy and graduated in engineering from Northwestern University. He was in the 29th division in the Army, mayor of Barnegat Bay and at the age of 69, he sailed across the Atlantic Ocean on his 50-foot sailboat called My Way.

Elmer is survived by two nephews, Tom and Will Beich. Elmer will be traveling once more to be put to rest with his beloved wife Murial in Kinsale, Virginia.

A celebration of Life will be held from 11-11:30 a.m., January 19 at his home here in Key West.
