Squawking from pet roosters draws code case
Hens crow for a reason -- to mark territory or get a mate

City code enforcement will bring a case against a Key West woman next week in which the evidence includes a recording of roosters crowing from her home off Atlantic Boulevard.

The time: 6:20 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 18.

The source, according to the city: Sylvia Wingert's pet roosters kept at her home on Rose Street.
