Navy's pier lease deal down to the wire
Commission votes Wednesday over best and final offer for Outer Mole

The clock is running out for the city of Key West to strike a deal with the Navy over the federally owned Outer Mole Pier, where 141,277 cruise ship passengers arrived during the 2013 fiscal year.

The city's current license agreement with the Navy expires Friday. The Navy's real estate office in Jacksonville has told city staff negotiations are over, and the pier will go out...
