Commission decides on Navy pier lease tonight

The city of Key West's nearly $1 million a year operation of docking cruise ships at the Navy's Outer Mole Pier is projected to lose $54,000 at the end of this fiscal year, according to a budget summary by city staff.

Last fiscal year, the same operation went $10,000 into the red, bringing in a total revenue of $977,568 but paying out $987,571 for expenses.
