Mabel Ann White was called away suddenly to her eternal home on January 23, 2014. She is survived by her mother, four children, four grand children, two great grand children and seven siblings.

Mable migrated from Jamaica to the United States in 1988 where she lived in Miami for a short while before moving to Key West. She was known and loved throughout the community sharing a strong bond with all her patients, she worked as a certified nurse assistant.

Mable was an active member of the Baha'i community of Key West. She was a gracious and giving person and was affectionately called Jem/Jemmy by her family. She will be missed sincerely.

A burial service will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Forest Lawn Central Memorial Park 499 NW27th Ave., Fort Lauderdale Fla. and later on a thanksgiving service at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 01, 2014 at St. Paul Episcopal Church, 401 Duval Street, Key West.
