Bill Logan past away Sunday, February 2, 2014 held by the love of his life, his wife Marjorie and surrounded by his three daughters and two of his sons.

Bill was born June 23, 1933 in Evansville, Ind. James William Logan, Jr. to James and Cora Ellen Logan, their first child. He joined the Navy, upon graduating from Bosse High School in 1951, where he served as a medic and trained to become an optician. The Navy brought him to Key West where he began his career as an optician opening William Logan Optical Service in the Searstown Shopping Center. Years later he worked as the optician for Eckerd's in Key Plaza from where he retire in 1996 and moved to Warne, N.C.

Bill is survived by his loving wife Marjorie; his brother Charles Logan of Warne, N.C; his kids, Michael Logan, Cindi Brown (Jim), Franklin, N.C., LeeAnn Logan Nashville, Tenn., Patrick Logan (Sharon), Johns Island, S.C., Timothy Logan (Eve), St. Petersburg, Fla., Ann Marie Logan (Brian), Tracy Calf.; step daughters Sherri Zickers (Rob) Port Orange, Fla., and Maureen Wilson, Lake City, Fla.

His grandkids, Christopher Rideout, Amy Dennis, Aimee Hudson, Chelsea Arrowood, Brenton Smith, Matthew Brown, Ryan Grossman, Cori Smith, James Patrick Logan, Clay Rideout, Paige Brown, Jonathan Logan, Kyle Grossman, Julianne Logan, Blake Logan, Patrick Logan, Chase Cervantes and Caden Cervantes; and nine great-grand kids and a niece and nephew.

A celebration of life will be held in Warne, N.C. in the near future. Those who knew Bill know that he loved to celebrate.
