A Czechoslovakian diplomat was in Key West to assist the Cuban fishermen held by the State for Florida for fishing in state waters.

Standard Brands, Inc. announced that it would release a new Key lime pie mix that would include a history of how the pie started in Key West.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Malone purchased the two-story conch house at 1408 Olivia St. The sale was handled by Edward B. Knight, realtor.

Rear Admiral Louis J. Kirn, commander Naval Base, presented letters of commendation to nine of his officers for their work during the Cuban Boat Lift.
