Stiff opposition keeps bill out of House
Gov. Scott unsuccessfully lobbies for bill's passage

A bill that would delay flood insurance rate increases may have easily passed in the Senate, but it is being met with stern resistance in the House of Representatives, despite having 191 cosponsors from the Democrat and Republican parties.
