Senate passes bill to curb flood insurance costs
Not a great deal, but a good deal, says Garcia; it's off to Obama to sign

The U.S. Senate approved a bill Thursday night intended to curb dramatic flood insurance rate increases.

The Senate voted 72 to 22 in favor of the Homeowner's Flood Insurance Affordability Act, which is designed to counteract rate hikes that went into effect in October from the Biggert-Waters Flood Insurance Reform Act of 2012.
