Blood bank 'jokes' about killing prompts report

The local blood bank turned into a hostile work environment, according to a police report.

A 32-year-old woman summoned police at 5:13 p.m. Tuesday to the Community Blood Center of South Florida, 1111 12th St., to report a "verbal assault" by a co-worker who had just been fired, Officer Michael Diaz wrote.
