Federal judge denies bail in cocaine case
Judge cites Socas' prior convictions; 3 suspects still in Stock Island jail

A federal judge in front of a packed courtroom on Monday denied bail to three Stock Island men facing possible life sentences as a result of a cocaine trafficking sting.

Friends and family of Juan Soca Sr., 63, his namesake son, Juan Soca Jr., 42, and Junior's cousin, 38-year-old Jose Soca, all pleaded not guilty before U.S. Magistrate Judge Lurana Snow before their lawyers...
