Mrs. Wilford Whidden was installed for a second term as president of the Key West Air Force Airmen Wives Club.

Claude D. Valdez won 20,000 green stamps given by Gulfstream Food Store in a popular radio game show called "Zingo."

The Key West Chapter of the NAACP sponsored a fashion show at the American Legion-VFW Home on Emma Street. Among the highlights of the evening was the crowning of Vivian Woods as Miss NAACP 1964 by Joseph Welters, president.

The real estate sales for the month of March were $1,638,250, the highest month in the last six years.
