Closing in on sanity in juvenile sentencing

It took almost four years, but the Legislature finally is on the verge of passing legislation that will bring Florida into compliance with U.S. Supreme Court rulings on juvenile sentencing.

The court ruled in a Florida case in 2010 that juveniles could only be sentenced to life in prison for murder.
