City leaders urging Southwest to stay here
Last-ditch campaign inspires commissioner to seek resolution

Almost five months after Southwest Airlines announced it was ending service in Key West due to lackluster business, city leaders are publicly pleading with the company to stay.

City Commissioner Jimmy Weekley on Tuesday will bring forth a proposed resolution "urging" the Dallas-based airline to reverse course and keep its routes from Key West to New Orleans, Tampa and Orland...
