Hernandez sentence upheld

A Miami man sentenced to 32 months in prison in July for attempting to solicit sex online from a minor lost an appeal Wednesday.

The 3rd District Court of Appeal affirmed the conviction of Alberto Hernandez, 48, before county Judge Reagan Ptomey.

Hernandez was caught by an adult posing as a 14-year-old girl online working for the South Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

He is currently serving his sentence at the Suwannee Correctional Institution in Live Oak.
