CITY COMMISSION DECLARES KEY WEST HIGH SCHOOL 2014 BASEBALL TEAM DAY

The Key West City Commission recently commended the Key West High School Baseball Team by naming May 20 "Key West High School 2014 Baseball Team Day."

The 2014 team boasts an overall record 26 wins with just four losses and one tie. They are the 16- 4A champs and rank No. 1 in the state for the district.

"The City of Key West and its community is so proud of the elite team of gentlemen that consist of the 2014 Key West High School Baseball Team Players Steven Wells, Andy Perez, Gregory Veliz, Hugo Valdez, Darren Miller, Brandon Presley, Christopher Varela, Hunter Sellers. Jay Feathers, Anthony Henriquez, Damon Taylor, Hunter Matheesens, Patrick Edwards, Jared Perez, Christian Luna, Ty Hughes, and Kyle Snow; Coaches Ralph Henriquez, Chris Valdez, Dexter Butler, Danny DiFabio and Randy Sterling also Manager Bill Owens," reads the proclamation.
