Margie Pollgreen, 80, of Apopka, FL, passed away peacefully in her home, her daughters at her side. Margie grew up in Nebraska and always cheered on her Cornhuskers! She became a civil service secretary with the Navy and moved to Key West, where she met her submariner husband (Thomas C. Pollgreen, II, deceased) and married in 1963. They loved the Keys and raised their daughters there, and Margie learned to make the "best ever" Key Lime Pie. They were active KWHS supporters and Conchette Boosters. They retired to Apopka in the late 1980s and were active in their church.

Margie is survived by her daughters, Shawn and Lori Ann Pollgreen of central Florida, her sister, Ruby Tucker Patton of California and her stepdaughter Susan Pollgreen Walters of Georgia.

Margie's gentle and kind nature and caring spirit will be missed.

Her memorial service will take place Saturday, June 28 at 10:30 a.m. at the West Orlando Baptist Church, 1006 E Crown Point Rd., Ocoee, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Margie Pollgreen to: National Parkinson Foundation, Gift Processing Center, P.O. Box 5018, Hagerstown, Maryland 21741-5018 or via phone at 800-473-4636.
