Freedom of the press: Praise admirable, guarantees preferred

Sometimes, we take these simple words for granted: "Congress shall make no law ... abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press." But the freedoms guaranteed in the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution are hardly enjoyed around the world.
