Wilson joins First State Bank

First State Bank of the Florida Keys welcomes veteran local banker Joy Wilson as residential mortgage loan originator.

Wilson joins First State Bank with more than 30 years of banking experience in the Florida Keys, during which time she served as vice president, private banking officer and residential loan officer, relationship banker, and mortgage loan officer.

Part of her extensive community service background includes roles as, finance chair and past-president of Marathon Business and Professional Women (BPW), board member of American Cancer Society (ACS) Leadership Council/Monroe, and Leadership Monroe County alumni. She has been a recipient of the Community Foundation of the Florida Keys' Unsung Hero Award for ACS and named Affiliate of the Year by the Marathon and Lower Keys Association of Realtors. Wilson has twice chaired ACS's Middle Keys Relay for Life and previously served as treasurer of various civic, school and scouting groups.
